New Zealand’s exporters are signing new deals and improving the nation’s prosperity despite many global headwinds, Minister for Trade and Export Growth and Economic Development David Parker said today. 

Trade and Export Growth Minister David Parker flies to Australia tomorrow to meet his counterpart, Australian Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment Simon Birmingham. 

The Government is leaving no stone unturned to protect New Zealand’s quota access into the EU and the UK post-Brexit, Minister of Trade and Export Growth David Parker said.   

New Zealand will take part in negotiations to establish global e-commerce trade rules at the World Trade Organization (WTO). 

The first Commission meeting of the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) has reached agreement on guidelines to expand the trade agreement.

Minister for Trade and Export Growth David Parker heads to Tokyo later this week for the first Commission meeting of the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) trade agreement, which came into force on 30 December 2018.
