Tonight is the third leg of the trifecta: the Deloitte/Management Magazine Top 200 Awards.
These three sets of awards all have much in common.
They celebrate excellence, best practice, innovation and quality.

It was suggested that I should speak on New Zealand's place in Asia-Pacific trade. Having just returned from the APEC Leaders' Summit and being the leader of a government which has taken a number of initiatives in Asia-Pacific trade this year, I welcome the opportunity to outline our approach to trade initiatives in our region.

It seems the firm is bringing its legal services right up to date for its clients who are leading the way with the knowledge economy.

A few weeks ago I was invited to receive the collection of books which are in the awards tonight.I count it a privilege to have received them. As a collection they represent the most outstanding fiction, non-fiction, and poetry written by New Zealanders in the past year.
