This settlement enables the people of Te Roroa to look forward with anticipation, and to view the years ahead with optimism and enthusiasm. It provides them with a platform to grow and develop. This settlement establishes relationships to ensure they are involved in decision-making that affects them, and it returns land to them from which they have been separated for too long.
