I am very pleased to announce today that as part of Budget 2002 the government is increasing the funding available to television broadcasting in New Zealand by a total of $18 million a year. This funding will be allocated to Television New Zealand and NZ On Air, from the financial year starting on the first of July and continuing in future years. (All figures are GST inclusive.)
