Thank you for this opportunity to address you; to officially open your annual conference and of course to be able to officially launch the history of the Chartered Club movement.

I was delighted to receive the invitation to visit the beautiful Hurunui region and to participate in the opening of the Hurunui Academy.

And I'd like to thank the many people who have contributed to making my visit possible.
