It is an opportunity to receive and hear your submission to amend the Maori Fisheries Act.

I know that you are keen, like many others, to resolve the impasse on allocation issues.

I want to commend the School of Maori and Pacific Development - Te Pua Wananga ki Te Ao and the University of Waikato for organising this forum so that we could all come together to discuss a future path for Maori in the 21st Century.
