Last year wine exports were worth more than half a billion dollars ($512m).
Exports grew by eighteen percent by value. That is a staggering rate of growth by any measure, and it was achieved at a time when many of our export industries were faced with a difficult phase in the economic cycle.

The New Zealand film industry is a success story. With support from a wide range of government funding and initiatives it has developed into a viable and internationally competitive industry.
