This morning is about recognising achievement.

The people we are recognising today have all contributed a huge amount to their area of expertise.

The building and construction sector is a key part of the economy.

"I have received a report on the investigation into allegations concerning the use of non load-bearing timber for trusses and frames," says Building and Construction Minister Maurice Williamson.

The Minister for Building and Construction, Customs, Small Business, and Statistics, Maurice Williamson, has today released Briefings to the Incoming Minister.

Building and Construction Minister Maurice Williamson has called for an investigation into allegations surrounding the use of under-strength timber in some buildings.
