Creative industries supported by Enterprise Awards
Deputy Prime Minister Jim Anderton today announced the thirty businesses and entrepreneurs who will receive Enterprise Award Scheme grants in Round 5 of the scheme managed by Industry New Zealand.

"New Zealand music has both a cultural and an economic benefit for New Zealand, and plays an important role in our community," said Deputy Prime Minister Jim Anderton, whose own family is full of musicians both classical and popular.

"People in Canterbury will be able to make up for being away from the head offices of government departments through easier access to government services through the internet", said Deputy Prime Minister and MP for Wigram Jim Anderton.

"Roger Sowry and Bob Simcock's claims that the Government is making low income people's lives worse off are wrong and dishonest," said Deputy Prime Minister Jim Anderton today.

"Forestry and wood processing could go from our third to our top overseas exchange earner if we develop this industry," said Acting Prime Minister Jim Anderton today.
