Whangamata marina decision released

Environment Minister David Benson-Pope has released his decision to grant the restricted coastal activity applications sought by the Whangamata Marina Society Inc to construct and operate a marina at Whangamata.

In light of the further information provided by the Environment Court to the Minister, he decided that he was able to grant the consents subject to stringent conditions. A copy of the decision and conditions are attached.
