Visit by His Royal Highness the Duke of York

His Royal Highness The Duke of York will make his first visit to New Zealand from 13-18 November, Prime Minister Jenny Shipley announced today.

His Royal Highness is Colonel in Chief of the Royal New Zealand Army Logistic Regiment and during the visit will meet his regiment for the first time.

The Prime Minister will also accompany The Duke during part of his visit around New Zealand.

Details of the visit programme will be announced closer to the time of the visit.
