Mrs Robyn Jane McDONALD, M.P.

lately Members of the Executive Council of New Zealand; and

Daniel Paul NEAZOR
on his retirement as permanent Judge of the High Court of New Zealand on 31 October 1998.

Members of the Executive Council (Ministers) and Judges of the High Court are eligible to be recommended to The Queen for retention of the title "The Honourable" for life on relinquishing, or retirement from Office.

BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES

Neil Francis KIRTON, M.P.
Mr Kirton became a New Zealand First List Member of Parliament at the 1996 General Election. He was a Member of the Executive Council and Minister of the Crown from 16 December 1996 until 7 August 1997. He is now an Independent List MP.

Mrs Christine Elizabeth FLETCHER, M.P.
Mrs Fletcher has been a National Member of Parliament since 1990. She was a Member of the Executive Council and Minister of the Crown from 16 December 1996 until her resignation on 11 September 1997. Recently she has been elected Mayor of the City of Auckland.

Deborah Louise MORRIS
Deborah Morris became a New Zealand First List Member of Parliament in 1996. She was a Member of the Executive Council and Minister of the Crown from 16 December 1996 until her resignation on 18 August 1998. She recently became an Independent List MP and resigned from Parliament on 20 December 1998.

Brian John DONNELLY, M.P.
Mr Brian Donnelly has been a New Zealand First List Member of Parliament since 1996. He was a Member of the Executive Council and Minister of the Crown from 16 December 1996 until his resignation on 26 August 1998.

Mrs Robyn Jane McDONALD, M.P.
Mrs Robyn McDonald has been a New Zealand First List Member of Parliament since 1996. She was a Member of the Executive Council and Minister of the Crown from 16 December 1996 until her resignation on 26 August 1998.

Daniel Paul NEAZOR
Mr Neazor has had a distinguished career beginning with employment at the Public Trust Office, progressing to the Crown Law Office and appointment as Solicitor-General, in which capacity he served from 1980 until his appointment as a judge of the High Court in 1989. He served on the Rules Committee from 1980 to 1989 and as Deputy Chairman of the New Zealand Law Reporting Council for the same period. He retired as a permanent judge of the High Court on 31 October 1998.
