Minister To Visit Ohura

The Minister of Civil Defence, Jack Elder, will visit Ohura tomorrow, Wednesday, November 4, to be briefed on the current situation and inspect flood damage.

He will be accompanied by Deputy Commissioner of Civil Defence, John Titmus.

Mr Elder is due at Ohura at 11.15am.

He is scheduled to meet residents and officials of Ruapehu District, including the Mayor Weston Kirton, Chief Executive Chris Ryan, Disaster Recovery Co-ordinator, Jenny Rowan, and Assistant Commissioner Denzil Duncan.
