LUXTON ANNOUNCES COMMERCE COMMISSION

The Minister of Commerce, Hon John Luxton, announced an appointment to the Commerce Commission today. Ms Elizabeth Coutts has been appointed as a member of the Commission for a period of two years.

Ms Coutts is a chartered accountant. She is a Director on the SOE Establishment Board - MQM Meat, is on the Board of Viking Pacific Ltd and is a Commissioner on the New Zealand Earthquake Commission.

She has previously been a Director of Trust Bank New Zealand Ltd, Chief Executive of Carters and Chief Executive of the Caxton Group of Companies.
