DEPUTY STATE SERVICES COMMISSIONER TERM RENEWED
Ross Tanner, Deputy State Services Commissioner, has been reappointed under the State Sector Act 1988 for a further term of three years, Prime Minister Jenny Shipley announced today.

"Mr Tanner is a highly experienced public servant who was first appointed Deputy Commissioner in 1993. During his term as Deputy Commissioner he has effectively discharged both his statutory and management responsibilities. More recently Mr Tanner was Acting Chief Executive of the National Library and he managed the merger of the Ministries of Agriculture and Forestry," Mrs Shipley said.
