Consultation On Defence Re-equipment

Prime Minister Jenny Shipley today announced that Cabinet has made a series of decisions with respect to the re-equipping of the New Zealand Defence Forces.

"The Minister of Defence, Max Bradford will be making presentations to the National caucus and MPs who support the Government during this week," Mrs Shipley said.

When this process is complete a public announcement will be made.
