Prime Minister of Japan His Excellency Shinzo Abe and Prime Minister of New Zealand the Right Honourable Jacinda Ardern held a productive meeting in Tokyo on 19th September 2019.  Acknowledging that the upward trajectory of the bilateral relationship was the result of intensive efforts on both sides, the two leaders expressed their ambition to further strengthen the Strategic Cooperative Partnership.
