Attorney-General Christopher Finlayson announced today the appointment of Rob Osborne as a temporary Associate Judge of the High Court, for a period of 12 months from 29 January 2009.

Associate Judge Osborne practised in Christchurch for many years, initially with Duncan Cotterill and latterly as a barrister sole.

The new Associate Judge will sit in Christchurch.
