Hon Barbara Edmonds

Before being elected as the MP for Mana in 2020, Barbara acted as a senior advisor to Ministers under successive governments and was a key contributor to the Labour Government’s law reforms following the March 15 terror attacks. She was also heavily involved in the Government’s tax, social policy, small business, and economic responses to COVID-19.

Barbara is looking forward to continuing her work on building a fairer, safer Aotearoa New Zealand, where every family has the opportunity to get ahead.
