Hon Rodney Hide visiting major Auckland tunnelling project
Local Government Minister Rodney Hide (third from right) was part of an official party visiting the Hobson Tunnel site in Auckland on Feb 5, 2009. The tunnel will replace the 90 year old sewer pipe across Hobson Bay, Remuera. The machine which has been carving out the tunnel can be seen in the background. The project is part of an upgrade of infrastructure being carried out in the Auckland region.
