Implementing the growth and innovation strategy

Announced pre-budget
- $10.6 million a year over the next three years for the Sustainable Farming Fund.
- Additional $1.504 million for the Pacific Business Trust.
- $550,000 to conduct a stocktake of New Zealand's infrastructure, including road, rail and electricity.
- $15 million over three years to promote New Zealand tourism in the USA.
- $1.5 million in 2003-04 to implement the Tourism Strategy.
- $640,000 in 2003-04 to open a new embassy in Warsaw.
